Legal Resources in Chicago

Centro Romero’s Latin American Legal Assistance Services Program (LALAS) provides Direct Service Representation, Immigration Education, and Advocacy Services to low-income, primarily Spanish-speaking immigrant community members.  By assisting persons in attaining lawful permanent residency and United States citizenship, the LALAS Program directly enhances the person, the family, and the greater community.

The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights is dedicated to promoting the rights of immigrants and refugees to full and equal participation in the civic, cultural, social, and political life of our diverse society.

Ascend Justice serves undocumented survivors of gender-based violence. Immigration services are a crucial part of the long-term journey to safety and independence. They offer free immigration law services to people who have experienced gender-based violence.

Frida K Community Organization provides comprehensive legal and social service advocacy, with an emphasis on providing quality legal representation to immigrants, while promoting citizenship and naturalization for all immigrants.

The Muslim Women Resource Center’s Citizenship and Immigration Services Program offers assistance with U.S. Citizenship and select family-based immigration services. On-site staff provides information and assistance regarding immigration forms and procedures for nominal fees.

The Resurrection Project is committed to ensuring that all of our community members can fully engage with their neighborhood, their state, and their nation. We provide immigration legal services that protect the community from deportation while building leadership in the community to execute these services.
