Legal Resources in New York City

UnLocal offers free, high-quality legal consultations, representation to New York City immigrant communities. Our team focuses on providing legal representation to undocumented immigrants facing removal. We represent individuals in a variety of immigration matters, including Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), asylum (affirmative and defensive), cancellation of removal, ICE check-ins, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). 

CUNY Citizenship Now is the largest university legal assistance program in the nation providing free and confidential citizenship and immigration law services since 1997. They believe in empowering immigrants so that they are in control of their immigration case, a model of legal assistance called pro se. Through this model, their attorneys and paralegals help more than 1,500 individuals each year, all on the path to citizenship. In addition to their one-on-one services, they have also developed a model to help large groups with their immigration applications.

Immigrant Hope – Brooklyn offers honest, low-cost legal advice & services regarding the U.S. immigration processes in a safe and caring environment. Services in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic and Spanish.

The Arab American Association supports and empowers the Arab Immigrant and Arab American community by providing services to them to adjust to their new home and become active members of society.  Their aim is for families to achieve the ultimate goals of independence, productivity and stability.

Legal Services NYC (LSNYC) offers representation in a variety of matters, including naturalization applications, work authorization, adjustment of status, replacement of permanent residence cards, alien relative petitions, immigrant visa processing and removal proceedings. LSNYC attorneys also provide domestic violence immigration-related services.
