iMentor's program is based on over 20 years of learning about: the power and potential of mentoring; research on college access, persistence, and completion; best practices for engaging students; and how to support pairs to build strong and independent relationships.
All of our students attend weekly iMentor class, led by an iMentor Program Manager. They learn about relationship building, career exploration, the post-secondary application process and financial aid. They all apply to post-secondary programs that are a strong fit for them.
You and your mentee will meet monthly at pair events and work on tasks during each phase of 11th or 12th grade. The goal of your relationship is to support your mentee to explore careers, build skills that will benefit them after high school and enroll, and complete, a strong fit high quality post-secondary program.
To learn more about the experience you will share with your mentee and the goals you will work toward together by exploring the 11th Grade Pair Phases and 12th Grade Pair Phases.
