Legal Resources in Oakland

Immigrants Rising has an Immigration Legal Intake Service that is an online survey to help undocumented young people learn about possible immigration options.

The Immigration Institute of the Bay Area's (IIBA) Oakland Office provides immigration attorneys and Board of Immigration Appeals Accredited Representatives to help Bay Area residents determine if they are eligible for immigration relief, and represent them throughout the application process.

Filipino Advocates for Justice (FAJ) is an advocate for immigrant and civil rights for the Filipino community. Offering free naturalization services is one way they help and protect their community. Services include completion of the 20-page application for citizenship and referral of complicated cases to non-profit immigration attorneys. 

Social Justice Collaborative provides full-scope deportation defense, appeals and federal litigation. 

The Spanish Speaking Citizens Foundation helps families and youth integrate into society and navigate the process of becoming responsible, productive United States citizens. They assist clients with the citizenship application, prepare them for interviews, offer Citizenship classes and help with passport applications.
